What lighting do you use?

I use 4x24w T-5s on my 21g Via aqua

I was running all metal halides in my prop tanks. I'm slowly switching over to T-5s. I'll keep some MH for the acros, etc., but I love the T-5s so far.

I have MH on my 300 display.

tank lighting

40 gal uses 150w 14k DE halide and 2 55w actinic pcs.

90 gallon use 2x 250w 14k DE hailde, 2x 96w 50/50 pcs and 1x 4' T5 pure actinic

45 gal seahorse and softie tank 2x 65w 50/50 pcs

20 long (monster morph tank :shock: ) uses 1x 250w 15k DE halide only.

(3)-250W DE AB 10K's (changing to something a little less intense in a few months) and (2)-160W VHO's over the 125 (soon to be mainly sps)

(2)-175W MH 15K Iwasaki's (should be here tomorrow) and (2)-110W VHO (to be added later) over the 120 mostly LPS/zoa tank

(2)-75W VHO over 20L softie tank (wife's tank)

(1)-175W 12K MH over 20L QT

(2)-65W PC's-50/50 and actinic Odyssea bulbs over 10 gallon frag tank

(2) screw in 50/50 PC bulbs over 5.5 at work

How are people's zoas doing under LEDs? I was flourishing under Kessils. Switched to AI Nanos and had alot of issues. Stretching, shrinking skirts, bad coloration. Switched back to Kessils last week and stuff is looking better already.

I've used everything from pc to LED all wattages of halide and can't beat the growth and color you get from german t5s (& running dosing pumps ;p)
