Just finished hard plumbing my reefer 250. I added a dc4000 and a refugium. Do you see any problems with this setup? Don't look at the wire nut.lol

Nice job with the fuge. Have you thought about doing a DSB or some chaeto in there?

Looks good. So looks like you have a main overflow thats submerged in the pic and then the elbow as an emergency overflow?
Whats feeding your refugium? Kinda looks like you have it plumbed to the main drain.

I have the supply coming from my return on a ball valve. And you are correct on the drain

Should be ok since you have the emergency overflow. Red sea’s returns are also 3/4.

I figured if the return was 3/4 and the drains were 1" I shouldn't have a problem. Been running 24 hours now and everything is great. I can't believe how quiet it is.

That’s always important. Are you going to just bypass the first section with the filter sock?

No. I have it running down beside the skimmer drain. Hoping the good stuff from the refugium will make it to the display and not get filtered.
