Hey Reefers. Hoping someone might have an idea of what's going on here.
I have a purple firefish over 3 weeks in QT. Finished TTM. Before I put it in the initial QT, it got a 6 min fresh water dip. Dosed General Cure and Metro throughout the TTM. Eating, poop, and behaviour was fine throughout.
Then few days ago it started flashing quite a bit. So I did a 30% water change and dosed Prazipro in case of flukes. Flashing has subdued, but he still does it occasionally, so I will probably do another fresh water dip and transfer him to a new QT and dose Prazi again.
Then today it's poop was a very long white string, which I read could be an internal parasite. I feed it pellet food, hikari frozen misys and brine shrimp.
Any idea what could be wrong after what seemed like a good QT? No physical signs of anything on the body. It's seems healthy and still swimming around and eating.
Thank you.
