I have the Fozz cam and could never get it going ,anyone on here want to walk me throw getting mine set up?

I use 2 samsung 1080p HD wireless. They are awesome... very good resolution, you can zoom up to 4 times. Records, and take pictures. You can talk from your phone to the camera where ever you are... it sends you txt messages, emails with noises, and any movements, if you want too.

I bought a Foscam like the one below. Pan, tilt and night vision is ok. I am pretty good at tech stuff and for the life of me can't get the audio to work. I would like to try something different.

They all have apps and most of them have a web server inside which means you can set up port forwarding if the app is not there....However, I doubt anyone would make these cams without an apps... Besides there are other generic apps for you to use besides the ones provided by the manufacturers
How are y'all getting the signal out to view remotely?

Nest cams on sale for 140 over the holiday. I have one and use it for a baby monitor. Works great! Probably going to get another.

Nest cams are great ($149), with the added bonus of a power outage alert (/WiFi outage). I haven't found other similar cameras with this feature, which to me is just as, if not more important than the picture quality.

Debating between the Foscam or Amcrest 1080 pan tilt version cameras on amazon.
I kinda like the Amcrest due to 4hr of cloud recording.
Any personal experience on these cameras?

I tried two different brands that didn't work well for me, then I tried Foscam about two years ago and it really is "plug & play. Never have a problem and highly recommend. Mine is an old model but now they have higher res.

It is what I use when I am away from home.

Where are you ??

I use a Foscam FI9831P. It has a feature that allows you to do motion detection alarm for different areas of the field of view. I use this to "watch" for bubbles exiting my return pump. This tells me that my top-off system is not feeding water, or there is something else wrong. When bubbles shoot across those two boxes shaded in red, I get a message on my phone and I can check in visually through the camera.

This is the River Kwai in Thailand more precisely the Kwai Noi (little Kwai) next to the Death Railway and Hellfire pass where many thousands of Allied POWs died in captivity under control of the Japanese during World War II.
