White Algae or Bacteria???

Anyone have any idea what’s growing on my powerheads? It’s also on the glass in some areas as well.

Anyone have any idea what’s growing on my powerheads? It’s also on the glass in some areas as well.

Is this a new tank? It looks like “new tank dust” to me.

It’s very new, yes, about two months in. Cycled with live sand and rock which took about two weeks to stabilize. It’s currently stocked with two clowns, a watchman goby which is spot fed, two hermits and two snails. Parameters are stable, but that stuff is all over the powerheads and wasn’t sure what it was. I’m used to freshwater but new with salt. Thanks for the response.

I figured. Classic “new tank dust”.

It’s no big deal.... if you are running filtration just blow it off so the filter can pick it up.
