White mark ID help please

Hello everyone

Does anyone know what this may be? This purple has been in copper treatment and qt’d. I just noticed this today and was wondering if it looks like ich, or possibly a pice of sand. Does look a little protruding.

It could be an injury - it could be a parasite - but it's hard to tell in the light you're using. my guess is that it's an injury - it could be a lymphocystis lesion as well - depending on when you got it, etc. I would watch - and if worsening - that is more of an issue. To directly answer your question - it does not look like Ich.

keep an eye on this. Can be debris which will fall off, can be a mucus cone in which if true will increase in 24 hours or even a sand grain

Ok thank you, I will continue to monitor him and I’m hoping it’s debris. I will see how he goes in the. Ext day or so and if anything I’ll post another pic under better lighting. Thank you so much for your time I appreciate it.

So it turn out to be a piece of debris I’m guessing . I woke up this morning and checked on him and the spot is gone. Clean and nothing there at all.
