Would it grow back?

Local fish store had this hammer. Got a really good price one it but do you think the head will come back or should i just cut it off?

Unfortunately the two heads that are gone will not grow back. However the one that's left should grow out and branch off

Can so see any brown jelly in the middle of the dead heads? If so I would cut it right away before it spreads...
