I have a wp25 in my 50 gallon breeder at 75% locked. Have it positioned slightly upwards and towards the back. Does just fine.
towards the back with the waves blowing towards the front glass?

Sorry to highjack the thread but I have been looking into these pumps for my 22x22x22" rimless 46g cube. Do you guys feel 1 WP-25 should be ok or would it be overkill? Would I be better off with a WP-10?
No, no SPS...yet. I am still playing with placement, but right now it is on the same side as my corner overflow about half way up the tank and about half way up. I have it pointed pretty level and aimed at the front corner of the opposite glass. I have my returns pointing one down the back wall and the other towards the other front corner across the flow of the WP25.
Man I'm very impressed with these Pumps! I am a huge ecotech fan and will admit I use to talk down on these jeabo Pumps lol, I decided to get a wp25 for my new build and it's awesome! I sold my Vortech lol
I just ordered a WP-10 for my 65g. from what a read, a wp-25 might be a bit much in a tank that size. I'll let you know how it work out. It is supposed to ship on 2/28.
Here is a quick video I just took of the WP25 in my 65 gallon. Please excuse the current algae battle I am in. I have a phosban reactor and sea hare on the way that will hopefully put things in check this week. Regardless, this should give you an idea of my placement and flow. This is with medium (S2) power, W1 setting, and the frequency dial at about 2 o'clock. As you can see the surface is rocking pretty good. On high it rocks another good 3/4".

I planned on using two wp25s on my tank which has similar dimensions as your tank(36x24x18 I decided to test out 1 for now and it's Awesome! There's no way I would put 2 on my tank, So imo you will probally like the wp10 and adding another one would be great.
Yes they are small and work good most of the time. I have gotten up in the morning at 4:30 and have seen it running normally. Then after I turn on our kitchen light it would go back to night mode.
Ah hahhhhhhhhhhh found my light sensors. Wow they are small, but work nice
or i must have lost it.Just ordered a pair from fish-street. Coming with the dual controller. Shipped to the door for $175.
I have a Wp25 in my 40Breeder Frag Tank and a WP40 opposing my Vortech MP40 in the 125g. So far pretty happy with these and even have them hooked up to my Apex Controller too!
