So yesterday I finally bit the bullet and removed my kole tang from the aquarium... had to pull the whole aquascape apart ... ugh. I added new fish and the kole had been acting very aggressive with my sailfin and foxface.. but when I added the new fish it went berserk... I mean.. wow. So I drank a glass of whisky and got all my bins out and dismantled the aquascape.... netted the kole which was a pain.. wow that thing is fast.. but I tired it out a little and finally got it.. took it back to the LFS and then went home to put the scape back together... I think it came out nice.. I can see all the way to the other side of the tank in the back now... I have a power head pushing flow in the back too.. it was a long afternoon but worth it.. my fish residents are so happy and chill now... as soon as the kole tang was out it was like a whole different mood in the tank.. even with only the base rocks sticking out of the sand... I didn’t take a lot of picks during - wet hands. But some before and after pics coming up..

It's similar but more built up on one side and then more open on the other.. so sort of two environments.. and the fire shrimp have made a home where I can see them on the branched tonga rock on the left near the overflow.. they are actively cleaning fish as they swim in that area... super cool. I wasn't sure if they would act like actual cleaner shrimp but they do. My royal gramma has been hiding in a very nice little cave since i put it in the tank yesterday but it did come out a few times.. All of the inhabitants are super chill now... Sailfin tang, foxface, coral beauty, flame hawk, and royal gramma... going to add a six line wrasse today too...
