How did you execute your first attempt at shipping (corals)? What’s your method that you use?

There’s been a lot of talk about delayed shipments with fed ex and I’m just wondering what methods everyone is using to ensure a safe transport for coral.

Do it during times that are seasonally mild.

I would never try to ship in June through Aug here, it is way too hot and that can make many bad things happen.

Yeah I understand that concern however I’ve received packages just fine from fellow reefers recently. And I’m in Texas with 100 degree days. I’m just curious on what everyone else believes is the best way to ship... materials.. process .. certain carriers etc

I think it really depends on the area. For some UPS is more reliable, for others, it's Fed Ex. I'd try to work with the buyer to find the most reliable shipper to their area.
