I was looking over some Zoa frags in my tank and notice this “double headed” Rasta Zoa. It is definitely one polyp and not two sandwiched together. Is this something anyone has ever noticed with any of their zoas?

That’s pretty cool! my xienia have done something similar where to polys are mushed into one. They even pulse like there two separate polyps. One will pulses then the other and so on.

Very cool zoa. Let's hope it doesn't split. Does it have two functioning mouths?

I have a fungia coral with two mouths that has been going strong for a few years now.

If that were to be repeatable/breedable, that'd make a nice zoa equivalent to bounce mushrooms, wouldn't it?
I will definitely keep an eye on it and see what happens to it. If it stays this way I may separate and see what happens when it grows out. Too bad it’s not a GMK! LOL
