most of my zoas don’t open when I first bought them, they all opened everyday but after a few weeks they’ve just stopped opening only a few open now (same ones every day) I’ve left them for weeks now hoping they’re gonna open but had no luck. I’ve dipped them and tried washing them but made no difference.

temp 25
Salt 34
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 8
Phosphate 0.010
Calcium 460
Ph 8.1
KH 9

lights the ai 16 hd prime on 50% for about 8 hours a day.
I have had some issues with hair algae for awhile now but trying to get rid of it not sure if this has anything to do with it?

thanks in advance

The PO4 is quite low but I highly doubt that’s the reason they won’t open. Can you take a pic in more whites and give more info about your system? Other corals? If you bend down and look up at your zoas, do you see bubbles? Any dots on the stems or visible pests?

I have no other corals and I look at it straight on. I can’t see any pests or dots on them and don’t see any bubbles. The tanks the Fluval evo 13.5 57l with the fluval mini skimmer, 1kg biohome ultra marine. Hope this pics better

These are dragon eye zoas and they’re quite easy and fast growing. I’d try moving them to another location or using something like a turkey baster to blow them off in case something is bothering them. Also you can H2O2 dip them or try an iodine dip.

Okay thanks I’ll try moving them. How much iodine would u recommend to dip?
