table issues

Guys, need advice. Noticed that the tabletop in places where probably 2 years sometimes could run off drops - a little bloated by 1-1.5 mm about 5 cm in length along the aquarium and less than some in some places. How critical can this be. There is an idea to wipe well and varnish this seam...
