Hi,

I have a 6 stage BRS with an add on Chloramine monster. I change out the DI resin when TDS gets to 1. I just changed all the filters out (carbon, sediment, Chloramine monster, RO membrane, DI resin) last week.

I get 5-6 TDS before DI and then 0 after.

I checked and I’m getting 0.02 PO4 on Hanna ULR.

Where can this be coming from? How can I fix it. I’m dealing with large amount of PO4 in my tank 0.4 and I know the RODI at 0.02 isn’t high, but still shouldn’t be that.

0.02 is within the margin of error on that test kit assuming it is the ULR phosphate. I believe it is a +/-0.03 error range

Only test kit I know that can measure that low is a Hanna URL. Take into consideration that your tester is meant for SW, not FW.

Not even sure if you measure FW if you can get a test result worth using.

But also as already mentioned, .02 is well within the testers margin of error.

God point. I’ll mix up so fresh salt water and see what that reads.
