after battling high phosphates in my tank and going nuts trying to figure out where its coming from, i finally started to think outside the box and decided to check my ro/di water...

used a hanna ulr checker
checked 2 different units twice in 30 min increments

1st unit does have older filters/membrane - 0.17ppm
2nd unit has 3 month old filters/membrane - 0.06ppm

BOTH units showing 0 TDS verified with inline and handheld

both units are the exact same BRS 4 stage value plus 75gpd

what the heck is going on? i get replacing filters, but every 4 months while making less than 50 gallons of ro/di a month????

EDIT: I have very low pressure here at only about 40-50 psi, could this somehow be the cause?

Test some freshly mixed salt water

That's not a significant contributor to your overall phosphate balance. It might sound scary, but you add tens to hundreds of times as much phosphate each day from foods.
