my tank is currently fallow due to ich, currently I’m 5 weeks in and no3 has zeroed out so I started dosing ati N as per their recommendation. Problem is no3 is still 0 but I now have turf algae everywhere and ulva also! I’m assuming the algae is consuming the nitrate I’m adding? So how do I deal with this as corals (mainly sps) are washing out? I’ve removed my Chaeto algae from the sump to see if this helps, anything else I should be doing?
