My phosphate is 0, my nitrate is 5. I have 5 corals in there duncan, candy cane, leather, and hammer, and a mushroom. What i should do? My skimmer running 24/7. Do i turn it off? I do biweekly water changes. And i feed frozen daily.

Any problem signs( Dino’s, cyano) ? I would dose a little phosphate and feed a little more if feeding light.

The best way is to gradually raise it by feeding more with a high known phosephate food like flake food, pellets, or even reef roids.

Water changes are the wrong direction to go, as most likely that will continue to keep them too low or nonexistant.
Most RODI made salt water make up water is Zero Zero NO3 PO4

Check out this mastering nutrients episode.

You can run the skimmer on a timer (such as only on at night). That might help but skimmers really are not great for phosphate prevention in the first place. You can mix vitachem (or similar products) into the food which adds a little phosphate as well as a lot of other nutritional items. I like to soak dry food in vitachem.

You want P04, feed Reef Roids!!!
I used to feed it 3x a week lightly and watched as my P04 levels rose steadily. I changed to feeding once every two weeks or so and my problem went away.
Same here. I only feed when my PO4 is knocking at zeros door.

Reef roids are your friend , but don’t wait for zero phosphates. Between 0.05 and 0.1 is my safe zone and what my tank likes . Never letting it go below 0.05 . I actually shoot and keep my pho’s at and as near to 0.1 as possible . I keep my nitrates between 15 and 20 ppm . And I have a mixed tank heavy on the lps , softy side with two large sps colonies. Never let phosphates or nitrates zero out

You can dose phosphates. You can use Trisodium Phophate reagent grade (available on Amazon). I make a stock solution of 1 gallon of RODI + 2 tablespoons of trisodium phosphate. It only takes half a teaspoon of stock solution to get a phosphate reading on a 100 gallon tank. Of course, how much you dose depends on your nutrient export, the nutrient input and the nutrient consumption of your system.

My Hanna Checker gives me readings all over the place. I really wouldn't trust PO4 test results. Try to send in for ICP test.
