so as you read. My phosphate is .005 (yes you read that right). And my nitrate is in the 30s. I believe my sps are starving from too low of phosphate

I’m only running chaeto and a skimmer and my test result for phosphate is triton

What do you guys suggest I do to raid the phosphate and not raise nitrate.

I know feeding will help, but any food in particular? I slowed down feeding a while back because of vermitid snails, but not I’m regretting it.

I've heard some people only running their skimmer half the day to help raise it and it helped.

Dosing phosphate is certainly fine and has become more common. I'd recommend food grade sodium or potassium phosphate, but there are also hobby brands available, such as Brightwell Neophos or Seachem Fluorish Phosphorus.
