That is stunning! I'm working really hard to make my zoas look like that. Do you think the phytoplankton that I'm feeding my copepods will help my zoas grow as well?

If you have small children at home, don't let them near you when you're typing a password for something hahaha, Jason is 4 and he saw his mom buy him something on Amazon and he learned the password and bought about $300 later lol, I've been talking for almost 1 hour with Chase to cancel those transactions lol
Oh no! What a hassle. I have a 7 and 3 year old, and I swear they're smarter than l am.

Today is my last day of work for a week! I took off Friday for a wedding and then my wife and I are leaving Saturday for Connecticut to visit family. Probably hit the beach and pop into NYC to eat. Who knows what else.
Be safe and have fun, buddy. I'm off this week too for my boys' birthday. I bet you have better food pictures this week though, I see a lot of pizza and chicken nuggets in my near future. #DadLife

Thanks, enjoy your week off! I remember those days with that menu!

I'm trying. I would be really happy if they did Lol Those are gorgeous, wow. Mine reproducing polyps fairly well, actually, but the polyps seem to remain fairly small. I'm going to try to put them on a rock or make a little rock rubble pile and try to get that garden look on my sandbed. I just want to make sure I add the nicest zoas that'll grow the best when I make the zoa rock.

For the zoas, like all corals, you have to find the perfect place. If you give them too much light, they get more color but smaller and if they have less light, less color but bigger, you have to try to find the perfect balance.

That makes perfect sense and tracks with what I'm seeing. Do you feed yours?

I moved the hammer from the top of my rockwork to the sand bed just for a bit to see how it reacted. It opened more than it did at the top of the rockwork, so I am thinking too much light?

interesting, let us know how it goes Walker, I'm also having problems with the same hammer but with only one head

Flow is another possibility. I keep hammers in medium flow medium light but some people keep theirs in fairly high flow. Low flow makes them close in my experience.

In my limited experience, that's what I've seen too. I opened up the flow just a little more and now I'm surprised by how plump and full the hammers looked. I would've almost thought it would have the opposite affect.
