I could be wrong. If it is a hydroid, they're pretty common in newer tanks, and they will probably disappear once the tank matures.

Ha, that was my day yesterday! Working 6 days this week, 53 hours, kinda rough on this old man. I’ll be getting off in 23 minutes though.
