I hope you had a great day also Joel even though you got ripped off since it was your day off anyway. Had my mother over, my son is home from France. My youngest son got dropped off by his sister after being in Connecticut and NYC since Wednesday. I cooked steaks, home fries, garlic bread and baked beans. Great day.

Happy Labor Day! I just got back from 3 days at our mountain house. When I got home noticed that my dead monipora looks like it’s coming back to life after it being dead for many months. I now see parts of it that are red with little polyp looking thing. Is it starting to grow back? Couple months ago, I broke the piece in half and the whole thing fell apart. The little piece on the rock turned brown and died but it was glued so I couldn’t take it off. So I decided to leave it in the tank. Now months later it looks to be growing back. The parts I circled in red look to be the new growth.

I've had that happen with lots of coral, especially Montis. Currently have a Burning Banana Styloconiella that was dead that's growing back. I've killed the same Bubble Gum Digitata 3 times now and it's getting close to a small colony again, and I have a ROAB Digitata that grew back from almost nothing. I've had Gonis come back, Acros come back, Favias come back, Leptos come back, and rainbow Monti come back.
