Duh Amanda! (That's my real name by the way) I didn't even think about the water in the sump so I will need enough for 175 gallons.I would say that is probably the most used salt and popular with reefers with large tanks because of the price. Most of the seasoned reefers use it. I understand it is what the big public aquariums use. It should say on the container how many gallons it would make if not you would have to convert it to cups. Remember you have to tank In account you sump volume and water displacement from rock and sand.
