00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I would say that is probably the most used salt and popular with reefers with large tanks because of the price. Most of the seasoned reefers use it. I understand it is what the big public aquariums use. It should say on the container how many gallons it would make if not you would have to convert it to cups. Remember you have to tank In account you sump volume and water displacement from rock and sand.
Duh Amanda! (That's my real name by the way) I didn't even think about the water in the sump so I will need enough for 175 gallons.

Your last name isn’t Bynes? My kids loved your show on the Disney channel! If this is the same size container it makes 160g. You will need another. Remember, because of the rock and the sand your DT will need less.

Amazon has it for $58 after tax for the Reef Crystals.

That is probably for the best, Amanda Bynes had some mental health issues and addiction issues as an adult.
My only addictions are aquariums, dogs, horses (even though I don't have any) and animals in general.

Might not look like much but I have spent most of the day cleaning out our small home office that had become a place to pile up stuff that we didn't have a place for and turning it into a place to have most of my fish keeping stuff together. I plan on getting another shelf later then I will have a one for freshwater and one for saltwater. Some of the totes have non fish stuff in them and will be going to another storage area when I make room for them. Where the extra totes are is where I will put my water mixing containers.

I am going to test alk, mag, and cal to make sure it is good for the anemones.
Do they consume a lot of that?

Also will doing weakly water changes with the Red Sea salt help replenish alk, mag, cal? I don’t want to dose anything.

My friend @00W , you must have had a busy day making and selling meals! I hope you got a lot of please and thank you’s.

I’ve never had anemones, except for RFAs, but since they don’t have calcified skeletons I wouldn’t think the need calcium or magnesium. I think overall, alk and all, stability is key.
