What is the big coral in this picture?

Just dropped salt shaker all over the floor, 2 metal bowls not filled with anything but made a loud crash, phone twice, tongs, knife.
You name it I dropped it.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day!
Nice, day. I have my mother over every Sunday to get her out of her condo and to have dinner. Cooked steaks on the grill.

Time with our parents if you are blessed enough to have amazing ones like I did are precious and you should cherish each and everyone of them. I miss both of mine still even though it's been 11 years since I lost my dad to cancer and 3 since I lost my mom to what I truly believe was a broken heart.

I lost my dad three years ago to a sudden massive stroke. I never worried about him. He played tennis twice a week for as long as I can remember. My step father died a year ago last month while eating dinner at the dinner table. My mom has never lived alone before so I try to get her out of her condo and she enjoys seeing her grandkids, granddog and grandcat.

So sorry my friend.
I have no relationship with my parents at all except a little hi and bye.
They are both still alive, still married.

Whoa!
Tell us more please.
About half of my 125 rock is homemade Aragocrete rock. Portland Cement and Aragonite sand.

Make a sand mold with moist sand, mix equal portions of Aragonite sand and Cement, add water until it's a good consistency to scoop and dump without being "wet", scoop it slowly into the mold, cover with damp sand, cover and wait 24-48 hours, then remove from the sand. I let mine cure in the air for another day or two, then place it in a bucket of tap water and watch the pH. Once the pH stops spiking, you can either add it to the tank or give it a saltwater soak to start making it "live". I'll usually do a 5 gallon water change and put the rock in that to soak, add a splash of phosphates to seed it so it doesn't strip my water, and wait a week or so before adding to the tank. No heater is necessary but water movement helps (especially in the freshwater soak).
