I have a Biocube that has a lid. I top off every other day. Very little evaporation. I check salinity every week before I do water changes to make sure I don’t have to make any corrections.

Totally normal.
I'm at a gallon a day, summertime 2 gallons.
No worries.

Sometimes things don't come through for me on here.
I like evaporation.
Always new water going through the system.
That's how I look at it.

If you don’t have an ATO how often are you topping up. I’m losing about a 1/2 gal a day? It seems like a lot but I’m not leaking anywhere so I’m not sure if that’s normal.
