Yup that is a great solution if you have a fish causing problems. I did the same thing

Out of all the tangs I've had, my yellow has been the most chill.
All fish end up having their own personality although I will say that most of the time the overview of each fish is usually spot on.
But there are exceptions and your tank is big enough to experiment a bit if you wish.
I have a picasso trigger that's a big baby but mostly they're terribly behaved.
Just never know.
