00W's AIO Smorgasbord

And as Anthony Boursin would say… “The way you make an omelette for someone, reveals your character”

So don’t knock that skill set
Well gosh thanks.
Been doing it my whole life.

I don't make omelettes but when we had chickens I'd make a pretty decent custard pie and quiche. Then my wife got tired of quiches so I started making baked eggs. Then she got tired of eggs so I made lots of custards and meringues. Then she got tired of chickens so we got quail. Then the quail didn't do good in the heat so we had none.

Racing was the coolest thing I ever did.
Scariest yet most thrilling as well.
Can't describe what it's like.
There are no words.
Great learning experience too.

Meringues, custards…. Geez. Joel, we’re gonna have to start saying “Yes Chef” to all his posts!

I love quiche and make it as a special on Sunday sometimes.
I used to love eggs but after all this time they pretty much gross me out now.

I always wondered about that for people who cook a lot of breakfast for their profession

Yes.
Food in general has no real joy anymore.
It's hard to explain but sometimes people ask me what's my favorite thing to eat/cook and I'll just say give me a doughnut and I'm good.

Pizza? A nice grilled ham and cheese?

Don't get me wrong I still enjoy making soup and making people happy with food but it's tiring, very fast paced and stressful.
And I'm not 25 anymore.

My wife made me a grilled cheese the other day. She used Laughing Cow spreadable and Gouda... It was so good!
To have someone cook for me would be like a vacation and I could deal with that. :)

Come from a long line of professional chefs. My brothers prefer a hot dog from local iconic stands. Our entire family can and do cook anything for special occasions. But ask us all what we want to eat on any given day… homemade tacos

I put a lil laughing cow triangle in my homemade vegetable and bean soups . Right in the middle when I serve it. Sorta like a dollop of sour cream in gaespatcho

I know it’s late, but tomorrow if you have time Tim, can we discuss what you like to feed your Mel specifically. Trying to avoid an auto feeder but want to ensure he gets fed multiple times a day

OK now I really gotta go to bed.
Tomorrow we're having a pork Philly omelet with a smoked cheddar cheese sauce.
They sent me the wrong cheese on accident.
And a Monte Cristo.
And a country Benedict with sausage gravy instead of hollandaise.
And people everywhere....

I use two auto feeders. I feed flakes twice a day and pellets twice a day. I toss in a frozen cube occasionally and some nori occasionally.
