I used to keep Bettas too. Had a mustard gas male in a 2 gallon next to my kitchen sink. He was named "Urban Decay" one afternoon, I apparently startled him and he died instantly. I assumed a cardiac event. I still feel bad about that.

I'm not sure if mine are Mustard Gas or Paradise but I'm guessing my female is Mustard Gas and my male is Paradise.
