Send us a list, how much you feed and how often.

Stop amino acids or anything like that for promoting growth.

We will,figure out, but at the end of the day, you are going to have to put in the work, all the way.

I would NOT dose entire tank with peroxide yet. Not that it’s not an option, but it is not the first cause if you mess up the ratio you could lose everything like Amanda did.

‘I was looking closer at your DT. The nori feeder needs to come out - does that just stay on there all the time? It shouldn’t. The norimleftmin it raises numbers and it has a magnet.

if for now you can put the frags that are on that frag rack somewhere in tank temporarily, take that rack out as well.

Do I see an acclimation box in there? Is there a fish in there? Take that out as it also has magnets. If there is a fish, do you have a QT tank he can stay in?

Let’s elminate everything we can to better assess what happens after water change.

Also, you said you only did 10 gallon water change for first Flux treatment- that was not enough. You and I have same tank - you need to do a 35-40% water change, for total volume of DT and sumps. Which is a lot of distilled water, but you’ll have to do it. Sorry if my bold is on, my iPad is cracked.

I don't have one but can get one over the weekend. The instructions that cabe with al of them said to start them out on or near the sand and move them up a little at a time. Not sure I can tell what all of them are until they open up.

Phos most likely upwards of. 1, nitrate probably 40.
Everything is bound in GHA and you'll never get a true reading until gone .
LFS water most likely culprit I'm almost positive
Please ask dad if there's any way to hook up small rodi system like mine somewhere in the house/garage/yard and I'll give all the info about it even send it to you if I can.
Until then, remove as much as possible as outlined nicely above.
As @tbrown mentioned there is a source problem you must correct whether it be something rusting, supplements or the water .
I'm convinced it is the water. Probably bad membrane high iron/tds/crap in the water this algae is just digging.

@00W and @tbrown , tomorrow Im picking up all the necessary ingredients to make gumbo for the first time this weekend. Either of you have experience and can share some tips. It is hard to find good gumbo in Northeastern Ohio and I thought I would give it a go. I know the roux is very important as well as the trinity.

I posted pictures in my build thread I think everything is OK I will get better pictures tomorrow as well. They were all closed up as is expected after them being shipped and dipped.

The trinity is the base of most of my soups.
Onions, bell peppers and celery.
The roux is oil and flour cooked on low heat for 30-60 minutes until its dark brown mud then you add the trinity to that and as it cooks it will draw the liquids out of the veggies. You can then add what you want. Add spices now. Pepper, crushed red pepper, gumbo file, herbs de providence, thyme. I love andoullie sausage in mine also.
I've made it this way a couple of times but since I'm usually wanting to get things done fast I'll thicken with corn starch slurry or blended garbanzo beans instead.
I'll make gumbo every once in a while still but mine's not traditional, more like stew.
I've made seafood, sausage beef and a combo of all three.
I've added all different kinds of stuff but I've ALWAYS added ochre.
Over rice is good and one rule is you have to eat it in a bowl.
Get a good recipe and get all your stuff prepped and ready.
Don't know if that helps but you always know where to find me when you're ready.
