00W's AIO Smorgasbord

Yikes that's a long way. :face-with-open-mouth:
No wonder the water gets cold.
What's your tank like?
Any pictures?
We'd all like to see.
I'm using the RO buddie 4 stage. Been going on about 2 years. Simple, cheap easy to use. I went to the store for years. Hated it with a passion and don't know why I didn't buy this thing before. :crying-face:
Yes Sir, I’m going to get it installed asap ! It’s extremely time consuming plus the gas! Here are some pics and the specs on it.. I added the rock work on the other..

Total System Water Volume: 164 Gallons
Display Tank Water Volume: 132 Gallons
Dimensions: 59.1“L x 25.6“W x 23.6“H
Glass Thickness (front/sides): 0.75"
Glass Thickness (bottom): 0.59"

Thanks! Since December, I started adding fish towards the end of December, I moved too fast though and now I have ich in the tank. I didn’t want to go through the trouble of setting up another tank to quarantine the fish and treating them with copper .

What kind of tank do you have ?

I have 2.
A 75 and 20. Pictures of both are at the beginning of this thread but I'll go take a picture of both for you.

Sorry to hear about your ich, it sounds like you are on the ich management trail. I did the same and didn’t lose a fish. I threw the kitchen sink at it so not sure it was all of it or just some. First keep your water parameters pristine, feed heavy and I soaked all food in Selcon, Vitachem and garlic xtreme. If you don’t have one set up a uv. I dosed polyp Lab medic. Continue with weekly water changes.

Sorry, long day ‍♂️ That tank looks incredible! I didn’t think you could keep trigger fish in a reef tank, every time I would go to the LFS they would tell me that it wouldn’t work and I really like that fish!

Well this is my big experiment and I have heard this a lot over the years so I'm Journaling it for as long as everyone will have me :)
So far so good.
I have been adding things slowly and it's going good so far. But my trigger is a huge baby. :grinning-squinting-face:

Thanks for the advice! I ordered the polyp lab medic from Amazon, hopefully it will be here by tomorrow. I’ve been feeding heavy about four times a day and quality frozen food. Fish are eating very well, I’m hoping that they can get through this. I will do another water change over the weekend as well..

It all depends on the fish & it looks like it adapted very well!

I have no invertebrates for him to munch on.
He eats a lot and chews on rocks to file down his teeth.
But yes, it helps when you get a big baby.

I got my first hoodie this year. I'm a girly girl. I admit, I really like it when it's cold.
I can only wear them if they zip up otherwise I can't figure out how to get in and out
So my daughter bought me one.
Such a sweetheart.

The uv is important to remove the stage that is in the water column and I also recommend the supplements I listed. I hope it goes well for you.
