Well, no tacos tonight for me fellas and fellettes.

Elk burgers with roasted poblano peppers served on fresh, homemade sourdough bread (made by my daughter this afternoon). Blackberries, apples, and oranges completed the plate.

Tim, I had a good friend since middle school, big hunting family. Every fall a deer hanging from the basketball hoop. A German short hair from Germany. We went to OSU together and when he graduated I asked him what he was going to do. He said he was moving to Washington because that’s where the elk we at.

Grew up watching the Carol Burnette show with all the ear tugging and this had to be the funniest skit! It was always funnier when the other cast members couldn’t keep it together!

And then BAM! Ends up with a spectacular meal! Darn you Tim Brown.

I made quesadillas- stretched those ingredients (ok, I had to open a can of refried beans) ; but I had some killer salsa verde to finish it!
