I know one vendor, I believe Biota but don’t trust me on that, recommends float for temp acclimation and plop in the tank to decrease ammonia exposure. I’m not sure the effect of large salinity changes but I once read the fish can be very resistant. In shallow reefs during storms with heavy rains and runoff from land there can be large salinity changes. Don’t trust me I’m relying on my memory and I I grew up doing old math while I was going to public schools. Do your homework, it’s going to work out Amanda.Ugh just got a notice from the seller that there is a delay with FedEx and my fish might not arrive until tomorrow. They said they should be fine because they ship them with enough oxygen and water for 3 days and for me to drip acclimate them as soon as I get them but I don't know if that's wise since I have read that can kill them.
