Cheato just turned to mush.

Went with this thing again.
We'll see how it goes....
What is that exactly supposed to be?

Not familiar with what that is sorry lol
No worries Amanda!
Send water in and down over a screen, lights on both sides of the screen.
Grow algae on the screen which help lower phosphate and nitrate.
Supposedly.
Some say the algae grows in the scrubber not in their tank.
My tank just grows algae, but there's no reason not to use this I don't see it as a bad thing.
Just ugly.
My problem mainly comes from feeding.
I have a trigger who eats a lot.

I would love to be that close to a good coral store!
I don’t know I also have Tidal Gardens 50 minutes away, I’ve picked up corals there a few times.

Thank you for explaining it to me. I hope it helps!

Ok question for the cooks/chefs here. What's your favorite but easy baked salmon recipe thar uses normal seasoning that you can find it most people's homes? I love salmon and good fats that come from things like fish and avocado is one of the things the doctor said I should eat more of.

I can’t help you with that my wife and daughter don’t eat seafood and it’s not cooked in my house. My sons and I only eat it in restaurants. Maybe @00W will chime in, if I recall correctly I think he dabbles in cooking occasionally or maybe Tim’s daughter.

Guys my Exquisite Wrasse finally came out of hiding after 3 days of hiding under the rock in the QT tank! I'm so excited! He's beautiful but I couldn't get a good picture. I need to clean the glass tomorrow and hopefully he will be out where I can get a good picture.

Our go-to quick and easy salmon recipe is boneless skinless salmon in a glass baking dish with a half bottle of Trader Joes Soyaki poured over it (any teriyaki sauce with sesame would work), oven for I think 25 min, then served over jasmine rice. Optional: saute shoestring or ripple cut carrot slices in sesame oil till tender and serve with the salmon over the rice. E-Z mode.

That sounds yummy! I don't think I have any teriyaki sauce but I could pick that and some jasmine rice tomorrow. What temperature do you cook it at?

How was everyone’s Monday?

Our yorkie poodle mix, he outlived 3 other dogs. When my kids were little they wanted to hold our golden’s leash and he was 123 lbs. if he saw another dog he’d nearly pull me off my feet, out of excitement not aggression. My wife suggested a small dog for the kids to walk. Of course I said absolutely not, I clean the yard and take the dogs for vet appointments. So we compromised and got a small dog.

Coming up on 34 years of marriage this year, you learn fast or you don’t make it. Remember that you young husbands!

We had a couple at church Sunday celebrating their 62 wedding anniversary. Marriages that long there had to be a lot of compromising...

Wife does 400 for 20 min, I like to crank it up to 425.
