00W's AIO Smorgasbord

Ok, I did the marine snow thing last night. Wow what a difference. I hope to get some growth so I can do more fragging ( what was I thinking?). Before and after, you’ll obviously see the difference.

Oh that tank dude! :star-struck: :star-struck:
Best on here by far!

This is my water change disaster.

I'm still doing it the same way I did it in 1988.
I've been asking for pictures of how others do it but haven't gotten any yet.
Don't be embarrassed. It isn't a contest and sometimes it's OK to open up and be yourself.
That's how we learn in this hobby.
Behind every tank is the person who does it and that's just as important as the tank itself.
Thanks to all my friends on this thread who have proven that true.
I did that and it got old so I started not changing water… set up a nice mixing station in my garage and I mix 100 gallons up at a time and use a pump hooked to my station to feed that hose reel… did some math on my tank to figure gallons per inch drew a line at 100 gallons on my tank. I stick a hose in my tank and siphon it outside for a few minutes pull the 100ft hose out of that reel and drag it in my house and flip a switch on my pump and refill my tank.. takes about 15min to change a 100 gallons now.

I really did want to see how everyone does it so thank you. :grinning-face-with-big-eyes:
The stuff behind what we do is what I've always been most curious about.

You’re welcome man! I try to make it easy as possible or I won’t do it regularly like I should lol… if it’s a chore it gets put on the back burner.

Tis why I have my sump in the middle of the room not under the tank!
Agreed.

@Katrina71 , I made you lunch, chicken kabobs, with a side of risotto, parmesan asparagus, and Cheetos to balance your palate.

Cheetos is its own food group along with bacon
And Mac and cheese.... :thinking-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Did I mention I hate dealing with insurance and trying to get appointments at specialists?
No you did not but I think you just did.
It sucks.
Wish there was a barf emoji.

No respectable middle eastern chef would serve this dish without a side of Cheetos, it goes back a thousand years.

Possibly longer.
Dark ages maybe?
Used them to light up the plate, helps see the food.
It was the dark ages, right?
