Would this be overkill for a 65G with 20G sump?

P.S im just starting off so a lot of information will be new to me.

i have done intermittent research for about a year now. Gathering equipment.

Have a 20G sump, 65G undrilled tank and dry rock. Will be using sand substrate.
Getting close to being able to start my cycling.

That's what we're all here for. :)

Good morning.
Before school I move the anemone box because they weren’t getting flow.
I accidentally nocked off one of my frags that was on a frag plug.
I didn’t have enough time to look for it so I hope I can find it when I get home.
if I can’t find it because it might have fallen between rocks and die will it cause nitrate problem?
Like @Katrina71 said will be fine.
Some of the coolest things grow in the weirdest spots.

@aquamedic305 is working on a budget of 500. He still needs an overflow for a tank that isn't drilled. He's looking for cheap, 2nd hand for equipment. He'll still need a return pump and wave makers. Looking at Nicrew for an entry level LED.

I can go past $500.00 if needed, trying to really keep it under the 1K mark for now.
Once I build savings back up after my cycling ill get into the fancy stuff. I think im in a good spot for my budget, now its focusing on filtration & heating.

when it comes to heating the tank, is it best practice to have the heater inside the sump to heat the tank?
What wattage should i be looking at. Sorry for the random questions, i have a few minutes at work to look things up LOL.

Katrina is correct, i will need a return pump and wave makers.

@kevgib67 will you post a pic of your tailspot? Your pics are amazing
Well first of all you are a farce, an obvious closet tail spot blenny hater as your avatar picture has not changed. I am leaving this thread for good thanks to you.

It's cute that you think the other money won't be spent on fish and coral. ;)
