I would let him learn how to be the alpha in the small tank.I know this might sound dumb but maybe the tang will feel more comfortable in the big tank.
I could try feeding other foods in the big tank for him.
He is already bullying the Pygmy angel. Nips at him when they are eating nori.I would let him learn how to be the alpha in the small tank.
Patience young jedi.I know this might sound dumb but maybe the tang will feel more comfortable in the big tank.

I don't think my tester goes that low.Well I guess I’m not doing a water change this weekend!

and you don’t dose anything
Nope, sorry.Does anyone use gyres that alternate? Or have you in the past?
I am always going to test and dose in the 90 gallon.I have never worked out the math, or done it, but a long time ago, I was told if you change 1g per day in an average tank, you'd never need to dose anything. I'm guessing you could change up salt to meet your tank's demands if you needed to.
My previous 16 years in the hobby water changes did the trick, mostly softies and a few lps. This tank is mostly lps with some softies and a couple sps. Water changes couldn’t keep up with demand. It will depend on what you’ll end up having in your tank.So some of y’all don’t test cal, alk, mag etc in your tank. Do you let the water changes do all the work?
The setup looks really nice so far.Super excited to start this journey with you folks!
Had to cut out some of the bottom of the stand to drop the sump a couple inches to allow access to media shelf.
Will still need refug light!
