looking at these for powerheads, figure i start cheaper and buy an extra as backup then upgrade later if needed. Still deciding if i want her to spend that much on a UV light. Trying to do more research on expensive vs cheaper on the UVs.
Usually they are expensive

Flow is important.
Spend a little more, get a dc magnetic suction pump.
I have jebaos in all my tanks.
You can put them anywhere, they're adjustable and they last a long time.
I've used the aqueon and been unhappy more than once.
Jebaos are inexpensive but not cheap.

I'm going to be honest here.
Probably the biggest mistake I've ever made in this hobby is saying "I'll upgrade later. "
Always fails.
Buy the right thing the first time IF you know what that thing is. :)

That's my overall goal. I assume for the 65G I would only need one power head. What do you suggest that's reliable that wont break the bank. Powerhead is really only thing i have left for basics. Then ill be able to replenish some funds while tank is doing its thing.

Buy 2, 1 for each side.
Can get a pair on ebay for $80-100.
Well worth the extra dough.
