Hit Tom turkey with pickup windshield few years ago.

I remember that, I thought something new happened. They fly so low. I’ve had them fly across the street at windshield level. We have a lot of turkeys around.

I have the crack but I’m not a plumber. Two things I don’t chime in on is fish disease and equipment/ tech.

I have eshopps PF 300 - says max flow rate is like 340 or something like that. My return pump is rated as a 1600gph. Don’t you think this will be an issue. Attached current pics as plumbing references.

I tee it off and do a ball valve on the return line. I can open the ball valve to allow less water to return to the DT bringing my running water level down some or close it to bring the water level up. On the drain side of things you can use the valve to throttle some to decrease noise and air getting pulled into the sump.

i would also recommend a union and valve just above pump

The only reason I did the 3 90s is because of the media tray that would be inaccessible. With the 45s I should still be able to access that clear shelf in the sump?
