Does your tailspot eats food at the surface? One is going out of his cave and eat on rock but he seems interested when I give food to others. The other not sure as his main cave is hidden. Today I tried to put algae pellets with a turkey baster directly in their caves.

Not at the surface but charges into the upper column with the other fish to get his share.
