Would base rock be ok cut with the same sawblade used for concrete? I'm trying to get some flat bottom rock from just regular. My neighbor has a concrete business and I was going to pay him to slice it for me.

Should be. If the blade is dirty you have the potential for a small amount of silica sand but I imagine if you rinse it good the tank won't even notice.
