Too late I bought him he's very small and once I am sure my scape is where I want it in going to glue it. Hopefully it will be ok.

I love love love my urchins! Got two, they are bulldozers, but we know I’m the epoxy blob queen so the frags stay put.

Regarding wires, well it’s a crapshoot. I mean I’m taking a chance on the anemone not getting shredded and ruining my tank.

But Tim has a point- it’s like constant monitoring. Need a baby-cam with alarms

I also picked up a bottle of copepods that my LFS close to me ordered for me. I tried to get pictures of the corals in their bags but they don't show up very well. Both these stores take really good care of their tanks I thought about just adding the corals without dipping them...

My Apex pods from them are arriving today- too funny

Monti Cap goes up top-ish of the tank, leave it an inch or two down from the top of the rock it's on so it'll grow upwards.

What else? Leathers go middle-ish to lower third of the tank. Mushroom can go on the sand bed at the base of the rocks. They'll move where they want if they want (and leave babies along the way).

Chili Rasbora and Yellow Neos go in the office tank, Neos on the substrate and Rasbora in the middle to upper third of the tank. They'll both move where they want.

The leather is on a rock that kind of matches my other rocks so I will just leave it on it.

I invested in dollar store Gel Super Glue. It makes glueing things cheap and fairly easy.

I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure out math and what size bottle to order along with dosing a particular product and I just can't figure it out. Because it's Phyto, I can't be making huge measurement mistakes. So here goes:

Reef Nutrition - Live Phyto. It says to does 1-5 teaspoons daily for a 100 gallon tank. My tank's total water volume is 92, before you account for rocks and sand. I am currently dosing 2 teaspoons a day.

I'd like to setup a subscription and not sure what size bottle and how many weeks in-between shipments. The options on bottles are: 6oz, 16oz, 32oz.

Personally I would contact Dinkin’ Aquatic Gardens and ask there advice, fantastic customer service with a personal touch. I have been buying from them for over a year.

6 teaspoons to an ounce so 1 ounce per 3 days or approximately 11 ounces per month. 32 ounces is just under 3 months but likely won't stay alive that long. 16 ounces would be a decent dosing per month at 3 teaspoons daily. 6 ounces would last you about 3 weeks at 2 teaspoons daily.

To keep phyto alive and growing you need fertilizer and aeration. To keep it alive short term you'll need to keep it refrigerated and swirl it daily I believe? It should last for a bit that way but I think more than a month starts pushing it?

Thanks Tim!!! I agree on no more than a month for a bottle to keep alive. I will go with the 6 ounce bottle. This stuff is fantastic btw; noticed a difference in tank in comparison to Algae Barn Ocean Magik. Which is still a good product.
