00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I think you can but the results might not be accurate. If it shows ammonia, even if the numbers are wrong, it should mean that there's ammonia present.
so basically what you are saying even if it shows ANY ammonia, assume there is more.

Not necessarily. If it shows any ammonia assume there's ammonia. Ammonia should be at or near 0 if the tank is fully cycled.

@fishguy242 hey Frank, would it be appropriate to post on the cafe, about voting for Kev’s tank idk we just say #2? I’m not sure on the protocol for these things, plus it’s your thread. You just happen to have a huge audience
I posted on the Cafe - go like it everyone

Tanks been running/established for awhile?
Yes, 20G about 1 1/2 - 2 years.

haven't done water changes just top off, Ive neglected her a little, water is always clear (i do feed every 2 - 3 days) and just a little only when she comes up to the middle of the water column, she usually eats everything that i can see im sure in the time span things have accumulated. Was acting normal up until a few days ago

i did about a 50% water change yesterday, add a bit of aqueon dechlorinator. hopefully thats not causing the issues.

Yeah that’s a hard one there sorry bro.
I have a fresh water tank upstairs I may change water in once a year but I only use rodi for top off.
I've used lots of those water conditioners over the years with no issues.
Hopefully she pulls through.
If there is any ammonia somethings definitely wrong.
Supposedly the API ammonia test is not very accurate I don't know I've never tested for ammonia.
Are there other fish in there?
