Go through the same thing since 2 weeks. There are 2 ways to deal. Transfer all fishes in a quarantine tank, treat the fishes and go fallow for 76 days on the main tank. Or ick management where you get the risk that it transfers to all fishes and may kill them. Later on you know ick is in the tank and can come back anytime and may appear every time you bring a new fish. I am sorry I have to go out, will come back later. Please wait others to come for their experiences.Lights just came on and the new gosh is covered in ick.Should I remove just him and treat our do I need to remove my snails and 2 corals and treat the tank? Removing the snails and corals would more than likely be easiest. I have Kordon rid ick on hand and have read its ok for crabs but not coral or snails. In all the years I have been getting fish from my LFS I have never had any issues with any illness in their fish.
