00W's AIO Smorgasbord

Just placed my first order with Dinkins I did a bundle of 1 gallon phytoplankton, 1 gallon copepod blend, and a container of coral cane.
You won’t be disappointed, I am waiting on my order, I requested it to be delivered today.

I can’t believe I have to do it again so soon!
Yep... Time for me to frag mine again too... Still have 6 "small" frags on the frag rack...

Corals seem to be happy and yes I ordered the ones in the pictures but the Lavender Tang and one of the wrasses were not up to their shipping standards so I chose 6 Springeri Damsel and Yellow Clown Goby instead.

I'm guessing that the Carpenter's is the one you're not getting.

Tank is 5 months old in a few days. Parameters are ok except phosphate which all the time was high (0.36) normally it is above 0.6 and nitrate 40 as I was fighting disease so overfed. I have one wild acro since 6 weeks it is changing color from light pink to light green.
A lot of Acros turn green in new tanks while adjusting to the lights/tank parameters. My Pink Cadillac is almost pure green right now since I moved it to the new tank.

This picture was taken this evening. I know I’ve never done this before but I’m going to offer everyone here a free frag of this birdsnest. You all know this is an extremely slow growing coral and when it gets fragged typically the frags survive but the mother colony does not. That is why this specific coral is in such high demand and is so expensive. A cost of a round trip ticket is probably less than a quarter of the cost of one of these frags. Just let me know your TOAs. Limited time offer! Oh, Joel could you bring me a swiss mushroom burger? If not you still get a free frag!

Perhaps a juvenile tailspot for maybe 6-8 months. I would have to take a chainsaw to the birdsnest every couple months. Definitely worth trying, thanks for the suggestion @Remi !
ahh..sorry 300 is sold to a team mate...so I guess the new 500 is coming..Just how will santa deliver it..I know I will need 6 team mates to help lift the 300 and the 500....

There is a long delay to build the 500? You will your sump?

This will need to be documented!

No long delay on building the tank. I am still designing it. This is what I have planned so far and could change, it will have two exterior over flow boxes on the back, far left , far right with I am thinking a 15 inch back wall weir on each. That will be 30 inches of weir length out of 72 inches back wall. If I can increase the 15 inches to more I will but I will let tank co advise me. I also want them 1 inch from the top as the water level will be kept at 1 inch from the top. The top of the tank will have a 1inch colored band acrylic on the outside to hide water height line.
As far as the sump. I will build that here at my place...and I have not started on design as it can only be max 5 feet or so in length and I am not sure on width or depth yet..depth maybe be like the current one 20 inches. I am going to design it for two skimmers, the 300 INT and a 100INT for ozone..
You know as we learn what works and does not we adapt.
Ah coffee cup #2 now...
