00W's AIO Smorgasbord

There are 2 testers Luis.
A high range and low range. Which do you have? :thinking-face: :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:
It can be very confusing. I accidentally ordered the wrong one (for my preference) as there were three to choose from on Hanna website. Which I stay away from - too hard to understand. I went with BRS as they narrowed down the offerings to reefers, And I got on customer service call with them.

I actually call them a lot when I;m considering a product- they have CS local to you, so I pretty much talks to same guy every time.. Adam is used to me by now - lol. But I have been a very good customer with them, so I don’t feel guilty.

Oh no, mine is Ultra Low Range :downcast-face-with-sweat: ! Any of you need it, I can't use it anyway!

Would any of these help my corals?

Good question! What's happening with the corals lately? I'm not updated on your build but will pop over in a bit. If you know your tank trace elements and are deficient in one, like Strontium, then adding some might help. But if your water isn't deficient, I don't think that adding elements is going to give the corals a boost. I like adding Reef Nutrition phytoplankton and OysterFeast--I also used to add the Rotifers, but decided to cut down on bottles. Live phyto really gets a reaction from the corals though!

Today's parameters
Alk 163 ( 9 )
Ph 7.8
Ca 449
Mg 1492
Ammo 0.0
Nitrite 0.0
No3 21
Po4 0.3
bordering bottom on Po4 ,everything else looks great, remember margin of error in all tests ,+ &- a lil bit... ;) :)

Only thing low is magnesium but I have ordered Kent's Magnesium already it just hasn't gotten here yet.

Machine error I think because last week it was at 1.2, I'll check when I get home now, the ULR Hanna Phosphate Should read it if are in that range?

Question family, if the po4 hanna tester reads 0.90, it is above the maximum that he can read right?
And is it flashing 0.90 or is it a steady 0.90?

Curious- the twinspots you all have look similar. But Viking Reef’s twinspot coloring/pattern is very different. Am I missing something?

Lighting. That's the exact same Twinspot I had but his filter adds more yellow/orange. Mine was a stunning white with brown and black specks.

My corals like Fuel. Don't add any of the others if you're doing periodic water changes unless you sent in an ICP and it shows them as low.

Silly Frank, he's actually a touch high on PO4. I try to keep around 0.15 - 0.2
