Hi guys sorry I was missing yesterday and this morning. Sometime during the day while I was at work two of my dogs got in a fight when I got home I had to take one to the emergency vet she has a large place on her stomach that is torn really bad but luckily didn't rip the actual intestines or stomach but is going to require surgery to fix today. She also has several really deep puncture wounds that may require a drain to be put in. It was late and I was exhausted last night when I got home and this morning I was running late and didn't have time to check in with my family on here. They are going to call me when they finish the surgery and I will try to update everyone then. I just can't understand why after all these years of living together happily why they got in a fight but my heart hurts thinking about her suffering for I don't know how long while I was at work.

I’m so sorry Amanda, I can’t imagine how you feel! I’ll say a pup prayer that the surgery is successful and there is no pain during recovery.

Thank you they assured me they would send her home with pain meds so that will help as I'm sure it will hurt.

Oh my gosh Amanda! I am so sorry. You did the best you could, so try not to worry about what you could've done. What're the dogs relationships w/ eachother? Are they two from the same litter? Sending love and hugs your way.

It was a little strange for me to say good morning first today but the truth is I didn't pay much attention since I had to go to court today because of the accident, I send you a lot of strength and you will see that everything will turn out well!

No they are not related I have had Ruby for almost 8 years and Tara I have had since 2019.

What breeds are they? I have no idea why that would happen. Sorry about asking so many questions... you don't have to answer them if you don't want.

Ruby is a beagle/mountain fiest mix and Tara is a lab mix.

Wow, I wouldn't expect those two breeds to get into an aggressive fight. I am really sorry Amanda; I hope whichever one is injured heals up very quick.

Thank you and that is one of the things that confuse me most as well. Ruby is the one that got the worst of it I didn't see any injuries on Tara at all so it's possible it wasn't her but the other dogs were the same size as Ruby and are beagles so I dint think it was them. No one had anything wrong with them but Ruby. The depth of the punctures is why I think it was Tara she fought with.
