We replaced the capacitor for good measure already before we replaced the condenser fan motor. The new motor also came with a secondary inline capacitor which we wired in. The condenser fan kicks on everytime and stays running, it's just blowing 75 instead of 60. It ran a lot last night and it was raining and hot. I can check for a leak this evening when I get home if it doesn't rain (clay roofs with rain aren't safe to climb on...)

oh your ac unit on roof exposed....totally not what I have or used to dealing with...yeah wet tile roof is not fun....

20 gallon change with red sea blue bucket!

I did not like the residue in the bottom of the mixing buckets but quite a difference in the tank.
It appears more vibrant, gsp especially and all 4 buckets mixed in less than 1/2 hour.

yes this inspired me to put gsp on the back of the 300...

@JoJosReef , the new wrasse goes under the sand before the evening feeding but does get plenty of the morning feeding. Is she getting enough nutrition? I don’t get home from work until after 8:00 pm but there are tons of pods in my tank.

Is she fat? I feed my tank 5 times daily. Multiple food types. My wrasses are fat and happy.

Well, to be honest, EVERYTHING in my tank is fat and happy.

She'll get on schedule and will pick away at the rocks all day long. Keep an eye on her weight. A good belly on a wrasse is a happy wrasse.

My Leopard has a good belly but she's not fat. I wish she'd thicken up some but she only browses the rocks and the occasional floating food particulates.

Their tastes change over time. Mine started out eating everything and really downing the ROE, but now she has a strong preference for TDO pellets.

Well, I feed flakes (Reef Nutrition Prime and Reef Nutrition Formula 2), pellets (Ocean Nutrition Formula 1 and a mix of LiveAquaria pellets), and freeze dried Reef Jerky plus the occasional coral broadcast and off and on frozen Mysid. I also dump in Reef Chowda every week or 2 which is a live mix of Phyto, rotifers, brine, and copepods. She doesn't even chase the live, just hunts and pecks at the rocks constantly. Again, she's not skinny and her stomach isn't sunken, she just isn't thick like the rest of the fish.

I wouldn’t say she is fat but does not appear to be losing weight. I’ve only had her 4 days.
