00W's AIO Smorgasbord

Good morning everyone! New tank is setup and running but not scaped yet as I need to add more substrate. I didn't realize until I picked it up from my friend that it's got an overflow and is drilled so maybe one day I might can use it as a saltwater tank but for now it has a plug to keep it from leaking. Her 13 year old parrotfish did not make the trip well and is laying on its side still this morning so I don't think it's going to make it which makes me sad and will make her cry.

My buddy had a similar experience with his Parrotfish. It pulled through but he was sure worried for a couple of days.

I just finished my first cup - Kona Peaberry.
windy on this side of town...last night all my gear got sand blasted, was out in no mans land on dirt roads....have to clean all my gear before next shift in a few days...

I think I'm going to redo the seams on my tank... anyone know how to do that?
Scrape the old out, use blue tape and tape the seams where you want the edge of the seam, get aquarium safe silicone, squirt it in the seam, then run your finger or a silicone tool down the seam to get rid of the excess. Slowly peel the tape while the silicone is still wet, before it sets.

carefully.....good razor to scrape off all the old silicone. Then clean the area with rubbing alcohol. I use tape on edges I am going to reseal and then apply silicone into the seam between the tape and then pull the tape off to get nice clean lines while it is still wet...so one seam at a time...
