good morning! Lighting hit really close to the house last night and popped every gfci. Have never had that happen, luckily i was still awake to reset and get the tanks running again.

wow, that's why it's good to have a surge protector where the important equipments in the house are connected, I have like 4 or 5 throughout the house

All of my surge protectors are so old at this point, they only take so many joules of surge before they are just acting as normal power strips and need to be replaced. Betting that one blast last night expended all the surge protection in the house.

Yesterday I went to Home Depot to buy all the connections to re-plumb the RODI water system so that it would be easier for me and also to use the water that it wastes for the plants and to refill the pool.

Nice! My wife uses the waste for all her flowers. When i hooked this system up ran the RO to a pressure tank and then put a faucet in the kitchen sink and ran it to the fridge ice maker. Needed a permeate booster pump though to get the psi up to 80ish, well water was only 35 psi.

I find it interesting that there's several shots that clearly show the tank but the prompt says doesn't show the limitations of size (aka, doesn't look like a fish tank?).
