00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I remember the. copperband butterflyfish would eat it too
I'd love one of those guys! If I had a bigger tank than my 40 gallon cube, I'd definitely have one of these.

Thanks Tim. I really appreciate this. Luckily it is way out by itself on a rock. I'll give the hot water a shot tonight after work. If this fails or i see anymore, I'll go straight for the nudis.
Get it as hot as you can handle. I usually cook a coffee mug of water for 2 minutes in the microwave.

I do it just like Tim!
I've also kept boiling water going in a pot on the stove.
For me, it's much much safer.
I'm very bad with paste/chemicals/additives etc etc.

Hey John, if you want a fish you can consider a Tasseled (Aiptasia) Filefish but they can also turn to LPS corals for treats. I think males (more tassels) are less likely, but they also don't eradicate, just control. Once they're "gone" if he starts munching corals and you get rid of him, the Aiptasia can come back. Peppermints and Berghia tend to eat the whole Aiptasia and any potential babies. Hot water kills the Aiptasia, babies, and "eggs"/spores/babies.

Gotcha Tim. I'll definitely keep a spot open for the file fish. I'll give boiling water a shot and if that doesn't work or if I see a bunch more, I'll grab a critter. I have a syringe that I use to injection turkeys with. It should work well for this.

This definitely seems like the first line of defense. I will cautiously give this a try this evening!

That was my next question lol. Will the Aiptasia shrivel up or wither away? I'm assuming it'll be fairly obvious if I'm successful or not.

They will shrivel away.
I've found it easier on the bigger ones.
I had a huge one take more than one effort.
It does work.

Headed to the doctor's office for surgery. Starts in just over 2 hours.
Thinking about all of yall. This is the beginning of getting back to normal. Praying for your family

She's out of surgery and in recovery. Everything went well. I won't have to use her funeral playlist today.
Perfect Tim!
Give her hugs from all of us!

Great to hear brother. I hope you feel like sharing the funeral playlist with us though. I'm sensing an instant classic.

Oh it was a whole funeral list, not just songs I guess. She told me who was singing, whom was preaching, who wasn't allowed to speak, who to mute if they started getting inappropriate...
