00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I don't understand the polarized lens and have never used it. I usually use orange + yellow with or without macro lens.
I think polarized would work better for top down through semi-murky water?

If I'm not mistaken, I think its use is very noticeable, but for videos, not for photos.

polarization removes glare and reflections. If you wear polarized glasses fishing it allows you look into the water.

Why polarizing filters are useful

At times, reflections can enhance a photograph or even be the main subject. But they can also be unwanted and distracting.

When you are photographing:

  • glass
  • chrome
  • water
  • or other reflective surfaces

it can be challenging to create a clear representation in your photos. Reflections from these types of surfaces can invade your composition. They are not always possible to avoid without using a polarizing filter. Even with a polarizing filter, you may not be able to completely eliminate reflections from a surface.

why is everyone so far away? luis, id love to help you move stuff over!
I think we are spread all over the U.S. in this family lol, it's incredible how this group of people that I consider myself lucky to be able to call friends can be different in terms of age, culture, gender, even nationality... and at the same time we are so similar that it seems like we are family, thanks guys and gals for creating the Smorgasbord family.

Now there is the answer to our times sir! Well said! Our country needs to become family again!

Yep. Milka/Purple are neat, teal is a cool one as well. Rainbow Stylophora are nice. Jason Fox has one called a Bugout that was cool colors as well.
And it can handle some heavy flow right?

Boy Jill, it’s little tummy looks sunken but it’s eating good? Mine always looks 9 months pregnant. Two things I’m not good at is fish disease and equipment but it could have internal parasite. I would post it and the question on the fish disease thread and see what the fish medics have to say.

I tend to hold my different orphic lenses up to see which one or combination is best for the current light running at the time. Full blues, 50/50 blue/whites or full whites.

Yes, unforuantly he's very thin. I am sure he has already started feeding on his liver (or kidneys; can't remember which one). Wait to see what fish medics say on your thread.

Liver.

It doesn't like the powerheads blowing directly on it, but yes, heavy flow. And they can handle bright light or medium light. If the powerhead is blowing over the top of it, it will grow into it the way it wants.

How old is it? They aren't particularly long lived. I just lost mine. No idea if it was just his time or not.
